A new single "Urashima Suite" out now!
I’m so excited to send this track to the world. A new single is released yesterday. It’s called “Urashima Suite”.
This track is included in the upcoming album “Branches Vol. 2” and the album release is the next month on June 18th via Outside In Music.
This song is based on Japanese folk tale, Urashima Taro and as you watch the music video, you can follow the story. Here is the written version:

Once upon a time, there was a fisherman named Urashima Taro. Taro lived with his mother.
One day, walking along the beach, some children were bullying small turtles. Taro stopped them from bullying the turtle, and gave the turtle back to the sea. The next day, Taro was fishing along the beach. A large sea turtle faced the ocean from the sea. The sea turtle said, “Thank you for helping my son yesterday, I will take you to Dragon Palace.” The sea turtle put Taro on her back and dove into the sea. In the Dragon Palace, beautiful Princess Oto welcomed Taro, and he was welcomed with delicious treats and dancing fish. Taro danced, and he enjoyed a couple of days.
One day, Taro decided to go home, and he said, “My mother will get angry if I do not return home soon.” Princess Oto said, “This is a treasure of Dragon Palace. When you face trouble, you can open it”. She handed the special box to Taro. When Taro returned home after several days, his house and everybody he knew was gone. Taro spoke with a man and soon realized that 300 years had passed! Taro was so sad when he realized that there was no one who he knew in this world. However, he remembered the special box he got in Dragon Palace, and he opened it. Then, smoke came out from inside, and Taro quickly became an old-man.

I love imagining what it’s like to live under the ocean, surrounded by dancing fish and the palace of coral, but this romantic story has a bitter ending. The setting is surreal, but the feelings of loss over the expanse of time are very real and familiar to us all.
