"Post Bop Gypsies" released today!

I'm excited to share with you my new album "Post Bop Gypsies" today!

This album is quite different from the past projects I have released. In the past albums, "Visions" and "Roots", my focus was on the original compositions by seeking a new sound, pushing the boundaries and reaching for unknown territories. This new album is more focused on the conversation of the trio using the jazz idiom and seeking the beauty of melodic lines and intimacy.

For the contemporary jazz fans, it might be somewhat a surprise to hear me playing bebop and more familiar jazz standards, after releasing 2 contemporary jazz albums. But I also love bebop, Post-bop, contemporary, and many more and will continue to explore more.

Special thanks to Alex Goodman and George DeLancey for their beautiful playing in this album, Tom Tedesco for engineering the session, Jeremy Loucas for the mixing and mastering. Also, my husband Glenn Zaleksi for the love and the support. And Greg Osby for the encouragement, my family, my friends and YOU. Thank you for giving me the reason to create.

I hope you'll enjoy this album!
